- 27-28 september 2012 r. - Polish Economic Society hosted representatives of similar societies from Hungary, Latvia and Russia, and international organization - International Economic Association. Heads of societies talk about cooperation and joint ventures, such as conferences or meetings of young people. There was also discussion "Polish Economic Situation in a deepening Crisis" with Andrzej Raczko, a member of the Polish National Bank board.

25 september 2012 r., PAP - Experts present at a Monday debate on
Polish economy hosted by rightwing oppositionist Law and Justice (PiS)
were divided on the party's projects to revise the slumping national
economy. The 3.5-hour meeting in the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN)
gathered 25 experts, among others economist Witold Modzelewski,
presidential aide Jerzy Osiatynski, Adam Smith Centre president Robert
Gwiazdowski and Polish Economic Society president Elzbieta Maczynska.
